FollowKnee, a connected prosthetic knee with a 24 million budget
The prosthetic knee joint sector is expanding all the time, and it is set to be revolutionised by a French innovation. The FollowKnee is a connected joint, fitted with sensors which have multiple functions. The project is the fruit of a collaboration between a number of different companies and scientific and medical bodies, and has a total budget of 24 million euros which should enable it to be tested and on the market in the next five years.
